We are a reputed Orthodox Tea Machinery manufacturer based in Sri Lanka producing machinery over three decades.
Started in 1985, we initially manufactured the Terry Nipper and 3T Stalk Extractor Machines, while being specialized in Transformer and Motor winding activities. After years of hard work, focus and commitment, we expanded our production of Orthodox Tea Machinery portfolio to manufacturing of all shifting room machinery. This includes Trough Withering Fans, Slow Speed Fibre Extractors, Myddleton stalk extractors, Suction Winnowers, 3T Electrostatic Stalk Extractors, Michie Sifters & other Sifting Room Machinery.
At Green Island Engineering. we maintain the highest standards in production of tea machinery while keeping the quality promise to our customers now and forever. Our Tea machinery have been tested and approved by the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka (TRI). As a result, our machinery is approved for Subsidy by the Tea commissioner.
Our production facility
Our manufacturing facility is located in Maharagama,Western Province. This is also the distribution center for Tea Machinery to Factories all over Sri Lanka. Our production plant uses advance and sophisticated machinery tools and raw materials imported from Germany, South Africa, Japan, USA and other western European countries for Tea Machinery production.
During and after production of each Tea machine, rigorous quality inspections are carried out ensure that the machine has been tested and verified before deploying to the customer. We have a small motivated crew of mechanical and electrical engineering experts with over 15 years of experience in Tea Machinery production, who carry out these production activities.
